“I will sing a lonesome song to anyone who’ll listen,” sings Darrell Scott in the title song of his sixth solo release, Crooked Road,from Full Light Records. We’re so taken with Scott’s brave new CD that we wanted to feature this solo performance of the title track, filmed in Nashville at Music Fog Studios.
Darrell Scott’s roots lie in the Appalachian mountains of southeastern Kentucky. Although he was raised in Gary, Indiana, and in California, he was born in Laurel County, Kentucky. His father now resides on the family homeplace, where the Scott family has lived since 1893.
