Cruise Control

The road side crosses will eventually line the entire stretch of the interstate, forming
a countrywide picket fence.

Dirges will spill from the sound systems of passing vehicles, and drivers will hang
their heads low while keeping their eyes on the road.

The monuments will be adorned with cigarette-butt bouquets, and we'll count
our blessings with each mile marker we pass.
