Artist's Statement

I learned to take pictures after my oldest daughter was born. I wanted to document everything about her and my two daughters who followed, but I also found myself increasingly drawn to the beauty of the North Carolina outdoors. I didn’t plan to be a photographer, but I can’t imagine ever putting my camera down. There is too much wonder to capture.
